At Karcher Center JHS, we want to ensure you have all the information about the warranty coverage for your Karcher Home & Garden product. All Karcher Machines undergo rigorous factory testing, including lifetime tests on every thousandth unit, to ensure long-lasting performance well beyond the standard guarantee period.
As an Authorised Karcher Dealer, Karcher Center JHS can guide you on the Karcher’s warranty and assist with repairs or claims. The key points of the warranty are outlined below:
Manufacturer’s Guarantee Highlights
Warranty Provider: All Karcher Home & Garden products are covered by Karcher (UK) Limited.
Duration: Standard warranty is 24 months, but products purchased from Karcher Center JHS are covered for 36 months from the date of purchase (or as otherwise stated at point of sale), provided the product is used for normal domestic purposes.
Non-Transferable: Warranties start from the date of purchase and cannot be transferred to another owner.
Scope: The warranty covers repairs free of charge within the specified warranty period, provided all the conditions are met and the original proof of purchase is presented.
Exclusions on Costs: Carriage to collect or return a product is not included, unless the optional “Collect & Return” warranty service is purchased. This service is exclusively available on products purchased from Karcher Center JHS.
Applicability: Covers all Home & Garden products (excluding accessories and detergents) and for domestic use only. Products used for commercial purposes are not covered.
Extended Warranties Purchased Elsewhere: If you purchased an extended warranty at the time of purchase from a third-party vendor (e.g., Amazon), you will need to refer to that extended warranty for full terms and coverage, as it is separate from the standard Karcher Home & Garden Warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
The Karcher warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty parts and labour only. It does not cover damage caused by:
Misuse or neglect
Accidental damage
Improper storage
Incorrect installation or careless handling
Frost or heat damage
Unauthorised alterations (not approved by Karcher)
Use of incorrect supply voltage
Contaminated water supply
Unsuitable or unapproved chemicals

ATTENTION
A hose connector fitted with an Aquastop (Water Stop, Stop or similar) should NEVER be used on the water connection of the pressure washer as this WILL cause damage to the pump. The correct hose connector should have no parts in the middle of the connector and should actually just be an open tube.
If you have purchased a hose kit either with your pressure washer or you already own a hose kit, you can use an Aquastop connector supplied with it on the tap instead of the pressure washer.
When using a garden hose, it should be a traditional, fabric reinforced type with a hose diameter of at least 1/2 inch (13 mm). You should also ensure that the length of the hose is at least 7.5 m, and if on a hose reel, a length of at least 7.5 metres MUST be pulled off the hose reel to connect to the pressure washer.
It is vitally important to follow both of these pieces of advice to ensure the smooth running of your pressure washer and to prevent damage being caused by incorrect use that may not be covered under your warranty agreement.
Kärcher (UK) Limited or Karcher Center JHS shall not be liable in any event at any time for any indirect or consequential loss or damage. The rights and benefits under warranty are additional to your statutory rights which are not affected by this guarantee.
WARRANTY REPAIRS
Karcher Center JHS offers Kärcher Home & Garden customers a full Karcher backed warranty repair service on all Kärcher Home & Garden Range, covering material and manufacturing defects.
Karcher Center JHS can provide this valuable service even if you purchased your Kärcher Home & Garden Range machine from another vendor. If seeking to make a claim under your products warranty, and you didn't purchase it from Kärcher Center JHS, a valid proof of purchase must be provided. If your original receipt is not available, we can also accept a copy of a bank statement showing the transaction with the retailer you purchased it from (this excludes Ebay & Amazon Marketplace Sellers), if you paid by credit or debit card. If however, you purchased it from Kärcher Center JHS don't worry we will use your details from your original purchase, so we will provide the proof of purchase for you.
All repairs to Kärcher products within warranty are free of charge (subject to conditions of sale) except in the case of; misuse and abuse or frost damage, a collection and return charge may apply for those customers who are unable to bring their machine to us themselves.
More about warranty repairsAs of the 1st January 2024, Karcher have amended the warranty periods of the Karcher Home & Garden Pressure range in order to make these more concise and clear. Previously, warranty periods were based on the technology and features such as a hose reel. Warranties will now be consistent across an entire range rather than specific models within a range.

Please note: when you buy a product directly from Karcher Center JHS, your proof of purchase automatically validates the +1 FREE extra year guarantee. Product registration is not required for this however, product registration is required within 28 days of purchase from any retailer and Karcher Center JHS to validate the extended 3 year guarantee (for a total of 6 years). This guarantee is applicable to Home and Garden Pressure Washers (including accessories in the packaging box provided with the device) intended for domestic use only. It does not extend to products intended for commercial use. The guarantee does not apply to accessories or detergents sold separately (without a Home and Garden device).
