Repair a faulty product under warranty

If a product you have purchased from a vendor other than Karcher Center JHS develops a fault or stops working and it is within Karcher's Warranty period, then don't despair, Karcher Center JHS are on hand to provide their expertise, help and support and assure you that we will do our very best to help you just as quickly as we possibly can.

You can call us on 01502 563846 and talk to a member of our customer services team who will provide you with further help and assistance. Depending on the items(s), we may be able to take you through some very simple diagnostics to make sure that it is not a problem that can easily be resolved over the phone, ensuring that you do not have to return a product unnecessarily.

We can provide full warranty and repair services to any Karcher Home & Garden Range product providing you can provide a proof of purchase in support of your warranty claim. A proof of purchase is anything that can confirm the original date of purchase, so documents such as till receipts, invoices, delivery notes, paypal transaction details, bank or card statements showing the purchase date and amount are all valid forms of proof of purchase.

It is important to note that the costs of carriage to and from Karcher Center JHS does not form part of the Karcher Warranty agreement, however all labour charges and parts are fully covered so any repair itself will be totally free of charge. If you live close to Karcher Center JHS, you can simply drop in your machine at your convenience. If this is not possible or is inconvenient for you, you can either arrange to send your Karcher product to us for a warranty repair and have it collected from us or we can arrange this on your behalf at your discretion. Your Karcher product MUST BE boxed if you wish Karcher Center JHS to arrange a collection on your behalf, however we would also suggest that this advice is followed for any delivery service you use, including one that you have arranged for yourself.

What happens when you return a faulty product

Once we have received your item(s) and evaluated them and a fault or issue is found, then we will offer you the following ways to resolve this:

  • Repair your product, returning it to its full function and ensuring it is fault-free before it is returned to you. This does not, in any way, affect any future warranty or consumer rights.
  • At Karcher UK's discretion, the product may be exchanged for a new one and this will be sent out to you free of charge. The warranty for any replacement runs from your original purchase date, not from the date it was replaced by us.
  • Karcher Center JHS will re-box your product or if applicable, issue a replacement at Karcher's discretion and either arrange to have your product delivered back to you on a mutually acceptable day by one of our delivery partners or you can arrange to have it collected by a delivery company you have arranged. If you choose to have Karcher Center JHS organise your return delivery on your behalf, a member of our customer services team will contact you to collect the payment for this service.

What happens if you return a product and it is not faulty

Once we have received your item(s) and evaluated them and cannot find any fault or damage, then we will offer you the following ways to resolve this:

  • If we can find no damage or fault, Karcher Center JHS will re-box your product and either arrange to have your product delivered back to you on a mutually acceptable day by one of our delivery partners or you can arrange to have it collected by a delivery company you have arranged. If you choose to have Karcher Center JHS organise your return delivery on your behalf, a member of our customer services team will contact you to collect the payment for this service.

We cannot process a warranty claim without a supporting Warranty Return Or Repair Sheet and your proof of purchase. To make a request for a Warranty Return Or Repair Sheet request, simply fill out the form below and based on the information you have submitted, and if your claim is valid, we will email you a Warranty Return Or Repair Sheet. The Warranty Return Or Repair Sheet will need to be included inside the box containing your product, along with a copy of your proof of purchase. If your warranty claim is not valid for any reason, we will email you to explain the reasons why the warranty claim has been declined, as well as offering you some solutions to resolving the issues you have described.

    How to Identify Your Machine

    You can find out how to find your Karcher products name, part number and serial number by following the instructions below.

    You can find the product information required for the form on the id plate or sticker, which is normally located on the back, underside or behind removable items such as water tanks on your Karcher product as demonstrated in this example.
